Birth, disease, old age, and death are problems that every living entity in this material world needs to go through. Fortunate souls after lifetimes of wandering in different species of life finally come in contact with pure devotees who navigate them towards Krishna.

After accepting the process of self-realization devotee receives the initiation from the spiritual master and begins his spiritual life.

Spiritual master engages disciples in devotional service and instructs them to carefully follow the vows given at the time of initiation.

Sincere devotees gradually make progress and lose interest in material life. Such devotees develop a deep love for the spiritual master and naturally want to repay the Guru for saving them from the material entanglement. 

Out of love for his spiritual master, the disciple is ready to go through all kinds of challenges and inconveniences to push on the mission of his guru and in that process inspires others to dedicate their life also.

Such a sincere disciple naturally in due course of time becomes a spiritual master himself and as a service to his guru, he starts to accept disciples.

This process continues generation after generation and it’s the only way to end the cycle of birth, disease, old age, and death.

Key elements in this process are;

·      Accepting the initiation from the spiritual master in the disciplic succession 

·      Following the process carefully and sincerely

·      Developing attachment and love for the spiritual master 

·      Sharing the knowledge with others

·      Taking more and more responsibility in the mission of the spiritual master

Everyone is at a different stage of spiritual advancement but all of us have the same goal, to go back home back to Godhead and take with us as many souls as possible.
