Dear Srila Prabhupada,
After a whole day of service, I came back to my room and I’m thinking about what to write for your Vyasa puja day.
Whilst setting up for the abhisek in the haveli, I heard many devotees reading their offerings to You.
What is my offering to You?
Today, I can honestly say, I tried my best to give myself in Your service.
Over the last few days I slept little, I ate little and I didn’t have much time for anything else except the service to You and Krishna. Back-to-back Janmashtami and then Your Vyasa puja day meant lots of services and no time for myself.
My meditation during this time was; “give yourself fully Ananta Gopal, at least for those couple of days per year.”
Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Today on your appearance day I helped to organise the festival, I helped with the morning dressing and decorations, I helped with the preparation for the abhisek and the abhisek itself. Then I went to your rooms and helped to set up the bhoga offerings. I helped devotees to bring the bhoga to your room. I also took part in the kirtan whilst you were taking your lunch. After that, I helped with cleaning up the room and transferring and distributing the maha prasad to the devotees.
Once everyone got maha prasad I went to meet different devotees to thank them for their services.
After that, I went to chant my japa.
Later, whilst walking back to my room I reflected on my day of service.
I didn’t have time to think about anything else except You Srila Prabhupada!
The whole day I was fully engaged in Your service.
Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please bless me, inspire me and push me to increase my commitment to Your service.
Please remove the fears, doubts and other disturbances in my heart so I can remain free to focus only on one thing, service to your lotus feet.
Praying for your blessings.
Your servant,
Ananta Gopal das
